Gracy and Mickey called me up out of the blue in the summer of 2017 for their late fall wedding in Manhattan. It’s such a big part of the wedding photographer’s life that is rarely discussed, but the interview is a pivotal moment of this job. I interview with A LOT of couples every year and the experience is different with each one. It’s kind of a fascinating process to say the least, but I digress. Point is, I remember being kind of giddy hanging up the phone with Gracy. She had so much energy and it was contagious. She was really enthusiastic, and asked me great questions. Plus the wedding sounded like a beautiful opportunity. Long story short it was a thrill they called me back and said I would get my chance to document their day.

Needless to say, when I met them and thought I was hanging around two movie stars it all surpassed my expectations very quickly. These two are so much in love, it was an absolute blast capturing their wedding because it was overflowing with emotion. It was the perfect romantically gray and drizzly New York afternoon in late fall. Everywhere we went was big and awesome because we were in Manhattan. Le Parker Meridien Hotel was an epic venue. I was in all kinds of lighting and setting situations that inspired me. It was a feast for the eyes and lenses. And all of this was underscored by an awesome relationship with the encouraging and charismatic couple of the day. So awesome that Mickey passed me in the hall at the reception and handed me a glass of scotch. Really thrilled to add these images to my weddingography. Thank you Gracy and Mickey for the chance and congrats.
