Daisy + Mike – A Grain House, Basking Ridge, NJ Wedding
It never fails that when I am introduced to a couple by a great human I usually find myself working for more great humans. An old co-worker of mine, Findley (the handsome man with two gorgeous children seen throughout this preview), introduced me to Daisy and Mike. Daisy is his sister-in-law and when he heard she was looking for a wedding photographer, he remembered his old co-worker who left Corporate America to follow a speculative life in photography. This was generous of him on many levels, but mainly because working for Daisy and Mike was a distinct pleasure. Their wedding was intimate, fun, relaxed, and on schedule all at the same time. It’s rare that you shoot through an entire day without at least a few moments of intense stress caused by things out of your control. Not this wedding, it just flowed like magic from one event to another, and the joy continued to build throughout the day for these two incredibly genuine souls. The light was gorgeous, and the couple of the day radiant. It was a pleasurable job of photography, and I got to see an old friend in Findley which was always a comfort. Thanks so much for Daisy and Mike for the chance to document their gorgeous wedding!
