I would like to thank Jen and Ben for giving me the chance to photograph their awesome Albany, NY wedding. It was the first time I had ever been to the city and there was no shortage of beautiful backdrops, not the least of which was the Education Building and the Capital Building in downtown Albany. Things were just at a massive scale. The venue, 90 State Street, is an old converted bank with absurdly high ceilings and so much character. They really don’t build things like they used to, and I don’t care how nostalgic that makes me sound. As for Jen and Ben, they were a supreme delight since the moment they hired me. It’s very obvious why these two are meant for each other, and my camera was loving everything about them and their wedding day. Their warmth and relaxed attitude made for a very easy day of shooting as we traveled around Albany from the Renniassance Hotel, to Christ the King Church, to our promenade downtown. Their family and wedding party were tons of fun as well. It really did not feel like a day’s work. Congrats Jen and Ben, enjoy this preview of your wedding photos!
