Despite the 70 degree heat wave that graced the tri-state area in late February, Andrew and Becky's March wedding ended up being a cold and windy day. I start my reflection with this, because I would like to publicly recognize the chutzpah displayed by Becky for braving the cold for a good 30 minutes of portraits. It was purple lips cold, and last I checked wedding dresses can be drafty. I've photographed four weddings since Andrew and Becky, and I continue to tell tales of Becky's bravery anytime someone is upset about the early spring temperatures. She is a legend.
Despite the cold, I was surrounded by warm people (see what I did there?). Andrew and Becky are a couple genuine souls that put a lot of faith in me, and were about as easy to work for as they come. It was a blast photographing all parties, as lovely couples are usually surrounded by lovely humans. In addition, the Warwick, NY hillside provided ample views throughout the day. It was a beautiful backdrop for Andrew and Becky's love. Congrats to the lovely couple.
