Melissa and Jon met through their work with the Jewish Heritage Museum in Lower Manhattan and they asked to take their engagement photos in that area since it has such significance to them. When I arrived I was thrilled to see that the architecture of the museum is beautiful and so are the promenades and gardens surrounding it. So thankful to be introduced to such a great spot by these two, which I will now suggest to future couples looking for a NYC vibe. Jon and Melissa were great subjects throughout the shoot, and Jon had scoped the whole area out over the years while walking around the grounds. It was a great collaboration and we got a great mix of environment shots and portraits. Most importantly, I got a sense of just how genuine and in love these two are, and I believe the photos captured it. Congratulations to Jon and Melissa, and thank you both so much for the chance to capture your spring engagement session in Lower Manhattan. I look forward to your wedding next year!
